This Pub is Closed Long Term
Originally an outbuilding to the Abbey but converted to pub usage in 1979, it positively oozes character in its two contrasting rooms on two levels. The Undercroft Bar has an uneven, tiled floor with a magnificent open fire, whilst upstairs the bar features a vaulted ceiling with fine, exposed roof timbers. Not to be missed if you are in this attractive, conservation area. Traditional pub lunches are served everyday apart from Monday, roasts on Sunday.
