The Kings Arms is on the busy A5147 between Maghull and Scarisbrick near where it crosses over the Leeds Liverpool canal. It is a real community pub with two rooms and having many attractive original features. The pub has a small beer festival over the August bank holiday weekend which include a family fun day including many quirky rural competitions. They organise occasional coach trips to local breweries and other interesting places.
