Originally built as a Victorian mansion for a leading railway developer in 1866, present owners, the Cocker family, purchased the Hotel from Lord Stafford in the 1970's. Superb patio with excellent views, none more so than the rear garden which is a full size cricket pitch. Monthly folk nights last Thurs of the month. Annual music & beer festival first May Bank Holiday. 5 mins walk West Road out of Bellingham Use 880 PlusBus service from Hexham
