Featuring in every issue of the Guide since 2005, the Peel was recognised in CAMRA's national 50th anniversary Golden Awards. It is named after the former prime minister, known for his role in the creation of the police force and the Tamworth pig. Up to five changing ales are complemented by a good selection of continental bottled beers. Occasional live music. A large beer garden is to the rear, with ancient stone walls, overlooked by the historic St Editha's Church.
