Tasting Notes Beerblefish - Barrel Aged Imperial Stout
Rich creamy full flavoured stout with flavours of sweet black treacle, liquorice, chocolate, damsons, currants and a hint of marmalade giving a lightness to this strong beer. Finish remains sweet with a developing dry, bitter roastiness character and a warming spiciness and a little farmyard character. Aromas of sweet chocolate, tart dark fruits and a hint of funk.
