Tasting Notes Sambrook's - Imperial Stout (version 2)
Imperial Stout (Version 2) A dark brown 10.2% cask imperial stout which falls into the Speciality Beer -Flavoured category due to the addition of cacao nibs and toasted coconut flakes. . The sweet malt aroma is predominant with the chocolate and coconut clearly in evidence as well. In the mouth these flavours continue. There is a small amount of roasted coffee as well but the sweetness really prevails. The finish continues the theme and chocolate and coconut sweetness with some slight bitterness as well.
