Gold coloured beer with faint hoppy aroma. Some citrus in the taste. Graininess with faint malt. Initially dry with some low bitterness. Contains Citra, Sabro and Ahtanum hops. May be sold under the Republic of Liverpool brand. 30 IBU.

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
