Description

Rising from the ashes of Sunderland brewer Vaux, Maxim was set up with a 20-barrel plant in Houghton-le-Spring in 2007. More than 100 outlets are supplied direct and two pubs are owned. A weekday phone and collect service is available for bottled beers and a brewery open night is held on the first Friday of every month.
