Description

A famous Stamford brewery that opened in 1825 and closed in 1974. It reopened in 1994 and is owned by Samuel Smith of Tadcaster (qv). No real ale.

Currently, we don’t have information on beers produced by this brewery. But don't worry! Our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to gather and update our database. Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.


Tours

Melbourn - Brewery Tour

Tours by arrangement. Minimum 10 people, £6.50 per head including tasting of all four fruit beers. For smaller groups the number of beers tasted may be reduced.
