Description

Established in 1996, Abbeydale, one of the largest and longest standing Sheffield breweries, produces more than 220 barrels a week (over 75% cask). At least one new beer is produced weekly, often including the popular Dr Morton’s range (tribute to the owners). Small batch, mixed fermentation and barrel-aged brews are created under its Funk Dungeon project. Innovation, investment and expansion have enabled growth, including a substantial online offering. One pub is owned, the Rising Sun, Nether Green.
