Description

One of the famous four last brewpubs, it was established in 1832 and run by just two families for the first 151 years. Although, the present owner, Jim Birtwhistle, sadly passed away, Andy Brough continues to brew as he has done for the last ten years. The brewery is a ten-barrel plant.
