Description

Established in 1995, Bath Ales was taken over by St Austell in 2016. Since 2018 Bath Ales' beers have been brewed in a new high-tech brewery, including cask, bottling and kegging lines. During 2020-2021, the Hare Brewery layout was fine tuned and more automation added. In 2022, a new canning line was installed. In 2024, Gem was certified gluten-free by Coeliac UK. Brewing is also carried out for a range of St Austell beers, typically Tribute and Korev.
