Description

Kernel was established in 2009 by Evin O’Riordain and moved to larger premises in 2012 to keep up with demand. The brewery produces bottle-conditioned and keg beers, and has won many awards for its wide, ever-changing range. A new brewery tap, a few arches along, opened in 2020, and in 2022 it started to sell a different Kernel cask beer each week, now more widely available.
