Description

One of the earliest microbreweries, founded in 1985. Now owned by two local beer loving brothers, it has grown from a small, seven-barrel brewery, to producing over four million pints of its award-winning ales per year. With an expanding fleet of tied pubs and the Bod chain of cafe bars, it also supplies free trade customers in the Midlands, North West and further afield. Captain Smith, captain of the Titanic was born in Stoke on Trent, hence the name.
