The Annual Steam & Beer festival with diesel operation for 2024, allows members of the public to taste the local ales and ciders picked by the organiser from South East England (Kent, Surrey & Sussex). The event is a 2 day festival with trains running regularly through the day starting both days at 11:00am, in which the DS Smith (Trailer) Stage allows local bands to play throughout the event. Tickets can be purchased on the day or via the online booking site, in which this year the railway is allowing a weekend ticket to be pre booked (online only). The Bands listed to play are:
Ales are priced at £4.00 per pint (4.4% Abv or under) & £4.50 per pint (4.5% Abv or over). Ciders are priced at £4.50 per pint.
Tickets are priced as the following: Weekend Ticket (Online only): £20.00 Adults: £12.00 Child (Aged 3-15): £8.00 Senior Citizen: £11.00 Under 3's go free
The beer and cider are chilled appropriately with cask keg festival coolers, and fridges for the ciders, to allow a nice chilled pint.
