Improve This Listing

Family operated large 18th century inn, sympathetically modernized in the 1980s to enhance its restaurant potential. It has an open plan layout with many secluded seating areas. The wooden beams and paneling are decorated with brasses, pictures and historical artefacts contributing to an Olde World feel. An extensive menu has a mix of traditional British cuisine & continental influences and now open early for breakfasts. A former stable block has been converted into 5 double rooms ensuite.

Historic Interest

Dates back to pre 1776 as a pub.
