A grade II listed building dating back to 17th-18th century and was reconstructed in 1979. This old pub has a large public bar area full of character, with exposed beams, open rafters, huge fireplace, brasses and old agricultural implements. On route to the 40 seater restaurant at the opposite end of the pub, you pass through a smaller lounge bar section. fish and Chips and a selection of steak are popular, but check the website for menus and daily specials. Outside is a mixed garden area, part gravel and part astroturf. An extension at the rear is being converted into a function room.
