Opened in 1844, this former Whitbreads pub has become a freehouse in last few years years. Recent renovations have made this small pub into an open plan layout. The main bar area has a two large screen TV with Viasat sports, jukebox and a dartboard, the pool table is in a separate room. There is likely to be two or three real ales on for most sessions, including LocALe beers, plus up to 3 real ciders. There is regular live music and several sports teams are based at the pub.
