Built in the 18th century, some original parts remain including a huge open fireplace and wooden beams. It became a pub in 1850 and was later modified and extended (latest additions in 2006). There is a large garden at the back. Children allowed until 8pm, also Dog friendly. It has a pool table, jukebox & two large TV screens. The bar has 2 real ales from the Greene King, IPA & Abbot. Friday is Chilli/Curry night. Games: Pool on Monday evenings, Darts on Tuesday evening, Poker on Thursday evening. There is also a very active Golf association.
