A large Fuller's community pub at one end of the shopping center and close to Brentford Football Club. There is a pool table and dartboard. The pub was rebuilt in its present form in 1907.
Historic Interest
Rebuilt in 1907 by Nowell Parr and A E Kates, when Half Acre was widened for the construction of tramlines. It has very attractive, shiny, Royal Doulton tiles in green and mottled slate blue, with a beehive shaped turret and Art Nouveau glass, and is well detailed throughout. The sign has a straw bee hive and inside there is an Art Nouveau grate.
