Dating back to the late 18th-century, but with a late 19th-century frontage, this Grade II listed mid-terrace pub is close to the main shopping area and bus terminus. Ground floor features maroon painted framing with etched front windows, upper storeys cream painted. Large single-room, with comfortable lounge bar at front and dance floor towards rear. Lively town local with good 'craich'. Said to have 3 ghosts, but no recently recorded sightings! Karaoke Friday & Saturday evenings. No car park, but town centre public car parks nearby.
