Popular and lively local community pub with an L-shaped public bar at the front, and a comfortable lounge / function room (now with pool table) at the rear.
Bingo night Wednesday. The pub also hosts a Senior Forum / Nifty Fifty Club (for over-50s) which meets once a month on Tuesday afternoons and arranges social events and trips.
Historic Interest
A former Bass pub, named after the 2nd Earl of Uxbridge (aka Henry William Paget / Lord Paget), who was created 1st Marquis of Anglesey for his services at the Battle of Waterloo, where he lost a leg.
