This attractive village is less than a mile from, and is the closest pub to, the historic Bolton Castle. Until some thirty years ago this was the dale's last working farm-pub. Now it has been opened out, with three distinct areas: a carpeted dining room; a wooden-floored central section used mainly for eating; and a stone-flagged bar. Of the three changing handpumps two feature rotating beers from Wensleydale and Pennine, with the third handed over to locals' requests.
Weekend breakfasts start to be served in March (Saturdays 9 - 11, Sundays 9 - 10.45)
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
Redmire Village Pub, Redmire
