The Swan Inn dates back to medieval times, but what you see today was rebuilt after the fire of Sturminster Newton in 1721 the large single bar has traditional wooden tables and chairs and cushioned window seats. At one end there is a large inglenook fireplac. the walls are a mix of wood panellng and bare brick with some brick pillars supporting the upper floor.
