Large friendly town centre bar in former shopping arcade & butchers run by JD Wetherspoon. Disabled toilet. The name refers to drabbet smocks, which were historically manufactured locally by the Gurteen company, who still produce menswear in the town today. This pub serves real cider as recognised by CAMRA. Holds the Cask Marque Award for serving quality real ale.
