A large pub built in 1906 on a main road into Wolverhampton which has food as its major emphasis. In 1971 under the ownership of M & B it knocked the bar, lounge and cocktail lounge into one large room. The Oak room main dining area to the rear however remained unaltered. In 1985 alterations were made which saw a new restaurant and kitchens being built to the rear taking in the Oak room. In 2009 a major refurbishment took place which saw all rooms knocked in to one the space allocated to diners increased with just a small area left for drinkers.
