The pub dates back to the 17th century and following a complete makeover before reopening has retained the style and atmosphere of old. A friendly welcoming country pub that serves the local community well. Good food is now available all day, Curry nights on Thursdays and food offers between 12-5 weekdays. Quiz nights on 3rd Thursday of the month. popular with walkers who can pre order food to be ready for their arrival. Beware the overpriced half pints!
