A village pub serving permanent Bass, Pedigree, Timothy Taylor and one changing local guest ale. Formerly a restaurant, the pub is split into four main indoor areas with open fires, 2 of which are reserved for dining & the other 2 for drinking only. Food is served all day. A pleasant beer garden to the rear is popular in the summer months. The pub currently hosts live music on Sundays but this is subject to change. Awards: Pub of the year 2015, 2017, Pub of the season; Spring 2016 and summer 2018
Historic Interest
The building dates to te 18th century and has been a pub for 200 years.
