Built in 1830, licensed in 1838 and named after another pub in Shepherds Bush, it was rebuilt some 20 years later and is now the nearest pub to the Design Museum.
Renamed in 2022, this is now a gastropub with a pub on the ground floor and a restaurant upstairs. The pub interior is fairly minimalist with stripped floorboards, sage green walls, and a lot of exposed brickwork.
The food offering specialises in British ingredient-led dishes, serving a seasonally-changing menu including Sunday roast lunch.
As at the opening date one cask ale was on offer from one handpump on the bar, but that may change if trade builds up.
