This friendly community-spirited village pub dates from the 16th century. Extensively refurbished after a two year closure it reopened November 2023. The landlord has family ties to the pub as it was previously run by his parents. The right side of the pub offers a stylish restaurant with an extensive menu, while to the left is a low-beamed bar warmed by a solid fuel stove. The refurbishment has been tastefully undertaken, retaining much of the pub's character, with stone flags and low beams. There's a cosy snug behind the bar, a terrace at the front with tables and a beer garden at the rear. Bar snacks are also available. Bus services are very limited.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
