This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Small club near the village hall formed in 1908 for miners and officials. Run on a non-profit basis as a miners welfare charity. In February 2024 it opened its doors to families and non-members having previously been members only. There's a single bar serving one changing real ale. Pool darts & dominoes feature large as well as sports TV. To the rear is a bowling green and small outdoor drinking area. There is still a room reserved for members with two snooker tables. Cobs, pies & sausage rolls are available.
