Traditional one room pub in quiet residential area. No Real Ale.
Historic Interest
Said to be recorded as a pub on the 1751 census and modern licensing records date back to at least 1841 and listed in Bagshaw's Directory in 1850. An Argyle Brewery pub transferred to Birkenhead Brewery in 1866. Later operated by Bent’s (from 1967 Bass) selling Bass beers in the 1980s.
