Right on the doorstep of the Wirral Country Park and the very pretty village of Thurstaton you will find the equally pretty Cottage Loaf. Popular with walkers and cyclists it is in a perfect location for the sandstones cliffs which are a Site of Special Scientific Interest as well the Wirral Way. Guest beer is from the Greene King list. Britstops motorhome stopover available. The black and white photo was taken in 1988 when this was a Whitbread pub.
Historic Interest
Opened in 1930 as tea rooms. Acquired by Birkenhead Brewery in 1962 and later converted to a pub.
