Wetherspoon pub and hotel situated in the town square. First opened in 1820 as a traditional coaching inn and posting house. Normally the guest ales are from local breweries.
Turnover of the six or seven ales is fast which usually ensure one good quality aspect of the ales. Also stocks at least two local real ciders.
Food is extensive and good for the price offered.
