An unspoilt and friendly pub offering, in addition to its cask ales, a range of continental lagers and other draught beers. Low ceilings, stone tiled floors, wood panelling, exposed sandstone walls and a woodburner all add to its traditional ambience. Cricket can be watched from the sunny beer garden in summer. Handy for visiting Budworth Common and Oulton Park racing circuit.
