A picturesque former farmhouse lying in the shadow of the imposing Abernethy Tower, one of only two Celtic watch-towers in Scotland. The timber panels and beams give character to the bar area. Ales available; Alechemy, Deuchars IPA or Timothy Taylor Landlord. A good selection of meals is available lunchtimes and evenings made with fresh local produce. Separate dining/meeting room. Reopened again April 2018. Locally run. Freehouse.
Historic Interest
Dating from 1843. C Listed former farmhouse. Operated as public house by Thomas Cree from 1858 till 1911.
