A 16th-century thatched pub with a wealth of oak beams. There is a bar with a small games room next to it, a lounge with a roaring fire in winter and a large separate restaurant. Conveniently close to the Kennet and Avon canal the pub is dog friendly.
Two real ales are available with the local Ramsbury beer served straight from the cask behind the bar. A third real ale is available at busy times.
