A large thatched pub with several different drinking areas as well as restaurant and function areas. There is plenty of outdoor seating offering views of the Stone Circles making this a popular destination for visitors to the area. There is an 86' well in the left hand area. Two real ales from Greene King are served together with two guest ales. Good value food available all day with Brunch from 9.30am on the weekends.
Historic Interest
A 17th century farmhouse that became a public house in 1802. It has been extensively modernised and expanded since.
