Small historical cellar bar. The entrance is easy to miss, to the left of the Old Bakery café (the same owners). The owners are cask ale and real cider enthusiasts.
Externally there is only a staircase heading down. Turn right at the bottom to enter the modern bar. Turning left takes you along a short corridor to a spacious lounge, all underground. The inside has been completely updated for a comfortable stay.
3 real ales are on offer, and there are free crackers and cheese on a Sunday. Regular live music events.
