There are four hand pumps on the bar with a minimum of two in use. Large open bar at the front with a big fireplace; exposed brick walls and large comfy settees. Dining area to the right of the bar. Pleasant outside eating and drinking area. Very food orientated with an extensive menu and daily specials. Six B&B rooms available.
Historic Interest
A thatched 16th-century building that used to function as a shearing shed for market-bound sheep. Marked on a map of 1773 as 'Sheers'.
