This is a friendly family run local pub with good value high quality home cooked food. There are two real ales in the week, three at the weekend. There is a large garden. It also has darts and crib teams. Dogs are allowed in the bar. Four en-suite rooms. Quiz night on Thursdays. They hold a beer festival on August bank holiday each year as part of the village fun day when they aim to have 8 real ales and 3 ciders on.
Historic Interest
A former beerhouse and bakery that was owned by a miller in 1862. Bought by Caudwell's Brewery of Wootton Bassett in 1886 it became the property of the Lamb Brewery of Frome. Rebuilt in 1924.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
