The oldest pub in Battersea, Grade II listed, now an independent 'bar-trattoria-deli' with keg Peroni only. Once connected by a smugglers' tunnel to the Thames. Latterly Raven One Forty, formerly Raven.
Historic Interest
Grade II listing:- 17th Century late, with later alterations. Three-storeys including top storey windows in shaped gables. Plastered brickwork (painted) above modern ground storey Westbridge Road front of 3 gables, 3 windows; Battersea Church Road front of 2 gables, 2 windows. Some flush framed windows (RCHM).
