The pub name refers to the Volunteer Regiment founded in 1794 to combat the threat of a French invasion but the pub is a lot older than this. The double-fronted, pebble-dashed building contains two separate rooms: a low-beamed bar and a dining/family room where a comprehensive menu is served. The house beer 'Volly' is a rebadged Branscombe Branoc with three changing real ales.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
Volunteer, Lyme Regis
Changing beers typically include: Exeter - Ferryman , Skinner's (Goodh Brewing Co) - Betty Stogs , Timothy Taylor - Landlord
