Since acquiring this traditional village local in 2012, the owners have set about gradually refurbishing it, and have succeeded in creating a pleasant traditional village local. The front bar would probably be considered to be the main room. It is L-shaped, has light wood panelling and a cosy log stove each side, and is identified by the owners as the lounge. Other rooms are the public bar to the rear with pool table and TV, and a separate dining room. What is a feature in the pub is a number of changing floor levels! Pie and a pint night every Thursday and fish & chip night every Friday.
The pub is on walk numbers 9 to 12 in the Walking with Offa series.
