A 16th century building, part of which once housed the village mortuary. Open fires & oak beams aplenty (mind your head on some of them!). There is a very good restaurant but also a bar and a lounge area for quiet drinking in good company if you just want a pint. Quiz night on the last Tuesday of each month. Afternoon tea is served Thu-Sat 2:30-4:30pm (with a savoury option).
