The oldest non-religious building in Smethwick, probably built soon after the neighbouring church which was consecrated in 1732. First documented in 1818 when it was named the Hand of Providence. The building has been Grade II listed since 1947. There's a large bar and cosy lounge with a bowling green behind. Sunday lunch 12-5.
