A excellent village local run by the same team as the Hop Vine in Burscough since October 2014. This is a relaxing traditional pub with cask ales from the Burscough Brewery and serves locally sourced food.

The X2 Liverpool to Preston stops on the A565 near the roundabout into Mere Brow.
