The White Hart is a traditional, family run village pub with low ceilings, exposed beams and a large fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Outside there is a large grassed drinking area. The three ales are all sourced from Leicestershire breweries. Good value cheese cobs are available, and there is a pizza van on Wednesday evenings. Sport is shown on TV. Nearby attractions include Stanford Reservoir, and Stanford Hall dating from 1697, which has a museum dedicated to aviator pioneer Percy Pilcher.
