Formerly called the Sidings, this red-brick pub underwent a £250,000 refurbishment and reopened under new ownership in December 2014. Under new management since 10th Nov 2018. The food menu has now been modified and is largely of the traditional pub fare, home cooked to order with daily specials and Sunday lunch for a very reasonable price. The separate restaurant can seat 84 customers. Live music features on Friday and Saturday evenings with a quiz on Wednesday evenings. The historic glass kiln at Catcliffe and Catcliffe Flash nature Reserve are close by. Sadly, real ale was removed by July 2019.
