A welcoming, cosy, traditional single-room tenement bar in the Morningside area of the City, well frequented by the local community. The pub has been tastefully refurbished with comfortable seating along three walls and a fine display of wines and spirits on elaborate shelving behind the bar. Photographs of old Edinburgh adorn the walls along with some interesting brewery mirrors and a stained glass window at the back.
The guest ales are mostly from Scotland although one real ale (badged Bennets Ale), from Hadrian Border Brewery in Newcastle, is always available at a very competitive price.
There is a paved outdoor drinking area to the front.
Children are not admitted but dogs are welcomed with treats freely available.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
Bennets of Morningside, Edinburgh
Changing beers typically include: Cromarty (varies) , Fyne Ales (varies) , Loch Lomond (varies)
